For this project, the goal was to combine existing branding with the new branding for a brand new centre on Hong Kong Island. The website had to target new potential customers on Hong Kong Island and project a caring and compassion balanced with science and technology. The website also had to be easier for staff from the centres to manage themselves compared to their previous wordpress website. Finally, the website needed to present the vast amount of content in a more user-friendly format.
The use of two logos presented an initial hurdle for us but we found the best solution was to present then in either corner of the navbar. We then selected two complimenting colours to represent the two different centres and used these throughout the site to good effect. The use of large images of the different species cared for at the centre really brought the site to life and projected the core values of the business. We developed an extensive team section that staff could easily manage themselves, as well as a very in-depth services page, into which we condensed some 120 (!) pages of content into a format that was user-friendly.
The bilingual site also features an easy-to-use news section with the goal of providing the impression of a dynamic site, and a valuable tool for marketing,
